Black-capped Petrel range

The Black-capped Petrel is a medium-sized pelagic bird that rarely comes to land, except for nesting and rearing its young. They are more likely to nest on isolated islands where they will burrow into the sides of cliffs or hills. This petrel is found off shore in North America in the Atlantic Ocean. It has been reported seen in Cuban waters.
