The Black Swift is the largest swift seen in North America. These swifts have the smallest population of all the native swifts. They are known as the swifts that nest behind waterfalls and in caves. This swift is found in the Rockies in the northern US states and in British Columbia and Alberta in Canada. It has been reported as a very rare visitor to Cuba.
