The Cuban Green Woodpecker is an endemic bird of Cuba. This colourful woodpecker is seen in almost all regions of mainland Cuba and on Isla de la Juventud. It has never been identified or listed on the ABA bird list, meaning "seen and identified inside the boundaries of North America".
