The Lesser Black-backed Gull is becoming a more common gull seen in North America every year. Although, its nothern nesting area is not really known, it probably nests in the the northern regions of Canada and Greenland. This seabird was once only native to Europe. It can be identified by its slaty-coloured mantle and yellow legs. It is seen throughout all the Caribbean islands and it has been seen as a vagrant in Cuba."
