Pomarine Jaeger range

The Pomarine Jaeger is the largest member of the jaeger family seen in North America. This large predator can be observed in three colour variations. They can be a dark morph, medium morph and a light morph, where there is a lot of white on the breast. These seabirds nest on the northern tundra and on the arctic islands. During the winter months these jaegers are seen in the southern seas. It has been seen as a rare vagrant in Cuba.
