The Audubon's Shearwater has now been renamed as the Sargasso Shearwater. It is a smaller member of the shearwater family. This black and white seabird can be seen in the Atlantic Ocean on the eastern side of the North American continent, off the coast of Massachusetts, southward to the southern tip of Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. As well as, around the West Indies islands, then reaching eastward out into the ocean preferring tropical waters. It is more common in the Caribbean.
