The Snow Goose was a protected waterfowl only decades ago. Today, through conservative efforts, their recovery is very evident. It is not uncommon sight to see twenty thousand or more, gathered in one field. Their population has climbed into the millions once again. It has been seen as a rare vagrant in Cuba.
