Tawny-shouldered Blackbird range

The male Tawny-shouldered Blackbird is similar in appearance to the native male Red-winged Blackbird seen in North America. Both have colourful shoulder epaulettes, the Red-winged Blackbird has the most colour. This blackbird is native to the island of Cuba and is an endemic bird species. Although the males of each species are similar in looks, the females of each are quite different from each other.
