The White-eyed Vireo is found throughout southeastern North America, from eastern New York to southern Ontario, south of the Great Lakes, into New Brunswick, west into the Great Lakes, into mid-state plains, south into Texas and Mexico, east to Florida and up the Atlantic coast. There is a sub-species population, that lives year-round from Texas to Florida. It migrates on to the Caribbean islands and into Central America during the late fall and winter months. It has been seen as a migrant in Cuba.
