The White-faced Whistling-Duck is a South American and African waterfowl. It has also been reported on some of the Caribbean islands.
It is also seen in North American wildlife parks and bird centres. In the last couple of years, there have been reported sightings in Florida.
It has been seen as a vagrant in Cuba.
