Yellow-crowned Night-Heron range

The Yellow-crowned Night-Heron lives mostly along the southeastern US coast and the central southern US states. It has a smaller range than the more common Black-crowned Night-Heron. This heron prefers a warmer climate and is common throughout the Caribbean islands. Every once in a while, it does show up in the eastern provinces of Canada. It is a native bird of Cuba.
